This is a real chopper classic! ROCKET INC. "The Flap" is a unique muffler, that combines the traditional trumpet style with a moving rain flap at the port. Like a US-truck and like some extra radical choppers of the sixties the flap opens and closes when the motor runs or stops. Especially at low idle the dance of the flap and the sound is unbelievable.
At extremly highpipes the flap prevents from rain. But even without this sense the muffler is a great show. Because the ROCKET INC. "The Flap muffler is matchless on the market it is a registered design.
The muffler is matt black, the hinge is welded. Including chromed mounting bracket. The muffler is mostly empty for great sound quality. To calm the sound you can use baffles with 1 3/4" diameter.
The bracket has a length of 19 cm and a width of 2,5 cm. The muffler has a 45 mm header diameter (1 3/4") like most Harley-Davidson® models. Total length 47 cm, Width 6 cm. It will fit also to other motorcycles if header bracket and bracket will fit. Comes with adapter sleeves of 35, 38 and 41 mm inside diameter.

Caution: This muffler is for use on Showbikes only. The mounting of the flap is not strong enough for continuous use or use on streets. Do not use the flap driving with the bike!

The mufflers have no ECE-homologation, TÜV approval, or any kind ofcertificate.
The use is only allowed for showbikes and collector bikes, not for road use!
