This premium permanent air filter provides significantly improved airflow compared to conventional paper air filters. With its durable construction featuring an outer metal mesh and a fine inner fabric, it ensures optimal filtration and enhanced airflow. The filter is completely washable, eliminating the need for oiling. Particularly suitable for Caferacer or Chopper conversions, it gives the motorcycle a unique touch and enhances performance.
The air filter has a connector with an approximately 45° bend and a connection width of about 40-45 mm. The appropriate clamp is included in the delivery.
Attention:
Due to the increased airflow, the carburetor must be readjusted to prevent the engine from overheating due to a lean mixture. Proper tuning should be checked based on the spark plug color.
This air filter is specially designed for competition use and may noticeably increase intake noise. Registration is usually only possible for older models built before 1983, so consultation with the TÜV is recommended before installation.
